Sonja Corbitt a popular Catholic author, speaker, and radio host who erupted on the the scene with her explosive book, Unleashed, where she shared how the Holy Spirit is freeing her from her patterns of toxic relationships, self-medicating habits, awful circumstances, and overwhelming desires.
A Carolina native who was raised as a Southern Baptist, Sonja attended Mitchell College and the Southern Baptist Seminary Extension and then converted to Catholicism. She served as director of religious education at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Gallatin, Tennessee, and as executive director of Risen Radio in Lebanon, Tennessee.
Sonja is the host of Bible Study Evangelista on Breadbox Media, in formation as a Third Order Carmelite, a columnist at Jeff Cavin’s The Great Adventure Bible Study blog, and a contributor to Magnificat.
She is a Catholic Scripture teacher with a story teller’s gift- a Southern belle with a warrior’s heart and a poet’s pen. The goal of her Bible study resources are to help you create a space in your busy heart and schedule for God to love and lift you all the way up to His great lap, where all you’ve been given is loved and lifted too.
Sonja lives in Tennessee with her husband, Bob, and two sons.
Sister Mary Raphael is a member of the Daughters of the Virgin Mother, a new order in the early stages of foundation in Charlotte, NC that strives to serve priests and seminarians in joy, hope, and gentleness, so as to lighten the weight of their daily burdens and responsibilities.
Fr. Matthew Kauth

Fr. Kauth was born and raised in Peoria Illinois & attended Catholic grade school and High School there and began his studies following High School at St Mary’s College and Seminary in Winona, Minnesota. He completed his studies in philosophy at St Charles Borromeo in Philadelphia. He transferred to the Diocese of Charlotte following graduation to assist in the missionary efforts faced with the burgeoning Catholic population. He completed his graduate work at Catholic University in Washington, DC earning his ecclesiastical degree (STB) and was ordained to the priesthood in 2000. He first served at St Matthew’s parish in Charlotte. After a brief assignment as pastoral administrator, he was sent to Spain to study Spanish. He was the pastor of St Francis in Franklin, North Carolina. Fr. Kauth studied Moral Theology in Rome for four years, earning his doctorate, and is particularly noted as a speaker on Theology of the Body. He serves as the Chaplain for Charlotte Catholic High School, a professor at Belmont Abbey College, and rector of St. Joseph’s College Seminary in Charlotte, NC.
