Sonja Corbitt

(Keynote Speaker)

Sonja Corbitt a popular Catholic author, speaker, and radio host who erupted on the the scene with her explosive book, Unleashed, where she shared how the Holy Spirit is freeing her from her patterns of toxic relationships, self-medicating habits, awful circumstances, and overwhelming desires.

A Carolina native who was raised as a Southern Baptist, Sonja attended Mitchell College and the Southern Baptist Seminary Extension and then converted to Catholicism.  She served as director of religious education at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Gallatin, Tennessee, and as executive director of Risen Radio in Lebanon, Tennessee.

Sonja is the host of Bible Study Evangelista on Breadbox Media, in formation as a Third Order Carmelite, a columnist at Jeff Cavin’s The Great Adventure Bible Study blog, and a contributor to Magnificat.

She is a Catholic Scripture teacher with a story teller’s gift- a Southern belle with a warrior’s heart and a poet’s pen.  The goal of her Bible study resources are to help you create a space in your busy heart and schedule for God to love and lift you all the way up to His great lap, where all you’ve been given is loved and lifted too.

Sonja lives in Tennessee with her husband, Bob, and two sons.
